Tier 2: Polt (most of his success came against the Korean/foreigner WCS system rather than purely Korea but he is the only player to win a Premier tournament in six straight years), MMA (similar to Polt, most success came away from Korea but had maybe a higher peak, he and Polt are the only two to win a Premier tournament in all three expansions), Taeja (his 2012 ranks among the best single years ever), MKP (possibly the greatest TvP specialist in history but shorter career), TY (up and down production but he almost lives or dies on his 2017 season with only two Premier finals since then and one before) I don't really want to rank them but in tiers I'd go: Tier1 (I think most agree with the trifecta): Mvp, INno, Maru Possibly the final and strongest Terran great we will have in SC2. The last Terran: 2018-Present Maru, combining his own incredible micro with INnoVation’s skill in large scale engagements, Cure’s macro capabilities, TY’s multi-pronged harassment. “TIMBA” of late 2017 (at INnoVation’s 2nd peak): TY - INnoVation - Maru - ByuN - aLive The Four Horsemen of 2016/2017: TY - INnoVation - ByuN - Maru The might of Kespa: INnoVation - FlaSh - TY The twin rising stars of 2012/2013: Maru - Taeja (Also pretty much the only 2 that could win consistently in TvP during the blink era) The erratic, highly specialised trio of Terrans during the early years: Marineking - Gumiho - aLive The triumvirate that dominated the world in 2011, each with their unique styles: MMA - MVP - Polt (MVP > Polt > MMA > MVP) Instead of ranking them, I think its more interesting to look at the lineage of great Terrans all the way from 2010 to now: Peak, Consistency, Overall achievements etc.)
Other than those 2, I think its difficult to define who is “better”, because there are different ways to rank them based on different criteria. There are only 2 GOAT contenders (not just for greatest terran of all time, but greatest sc2 player of all time) in my opinion, Maru and INnoVation.
